Building a Full Content Ecosystem.
CliENt: Murphy's Cove, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland
The challenge
Murphy's Cove was not one campaign, one logo, or one website. It was a full content ecosystem built to introduce a place, explain its value, build trust, and support sales, across multiple audiences and multiple channels simultaneously.
The brand had to communicate something bigger than land for sale. It needed to sell the feeling of the place: the lifestyle, the oceanfront setting, the privacy, the proximity to St. John's, the potential of building there, and the long-term vision for the community.
What I did
I worked across the brand, content, website, social, campaign, and marketing ecosystem to create a complete presence for Murphy's Cove. That included brand positioning, brand story, messaging framework, website structure, website copy, page-by-page content planning, social media content and captions, campaign messaging, SEO thinking, calls to action, signage, visual direction, content calendar planning, and audience messaging for buyers, builders, and partners.
Every piece had to connect. The website, the visuals, the social content, the signage, the sales story, and the way the development was explained to different audiences, all of it had to sound like the same brand, telling the same story in different ways.
Why this matters for 7 Fathoms
The job spec describes success as building "a cohesive content ecosystem that strengthens the 7 Fathoms brand, supports business growth, and helps more people discover the benefits of Newfoundland seaweed skincare."
That is exactly what Murphy's Cove required. And it worked. Within five months of launch, 5 oceanfront lots (priced between $89,000 and $99,000) and 4 smaller inland lots (at $39,000 each) had sold. Content that connects people to a place, builds trust, and makes the value clear moves things.
The website had to tell the brand story. Social content had to build trust. Campaign materials had to convert. Sales content had to educate. Everything had to feel consistent.
That is where I can help 7 Fathoms. Not just by writing individual pieces of content, but by helping the whole system work together.
