Murphy’s Cove
Breathtaking views.
Big ideas, real impact.
A closer look at the problem, the thinking behind the work, and what changed once it was out in the world.
-
The Situation
Generate interest in premium coastal lots by selling the life around the property, not simply the property lines.
The Problem
Generate demand for high-end coastal real estate by selling the life around the lots, not a stack of dimensions.
The Constraints
Launch an upscale coastal property with zero existing assets and no production budget. The story had to be built from original on-location photography, all-new copy, carefully selected Adobe Stock assets, and AI-assisted concept imagery.
-
The Approach
Skip the predictable house icon and build an adventurous coastal identity, website, and social calendar around freedom, views, and place. The osprey-led mark and lifestyle-focused visuals made the first launch work hard enough to create real demand.
The Product
Property marketing for premium coastal lots, including the identity, website, original location photography, copywriting, social content, sell sheets, and open-house invitations.
The Role
Art Director & Graphic Designer
The Team
Cora Brown + Ann Bell, Property Developer. Later: a dedicated real-estate sales team.
The Timeline
Brand foundation → website launch → demand generation
-
The Delivery
A 40% increase in inquiries within the first two weeks, and two exclusive builder partnerships—East Coast Modern and Sable Building & Design—by week three. The momentum was strong enough for the client to hire a dedicated real-estate sales team and unlock a campaign video budget.
The Outcome
40% more inquiries in two weeks, two exclusive builder partnerships by week three, and enough momentum to bring in a sales team and fund a campaign video.
Anchored in blue.
The mission was clear: sell these lots by selling a lifestyle. I built a website that highlighted the secluded, upscale neighborhood and its stunning views—a blend of small-town charm and coastal living. Once the site was live, I created a social media calendar with visuals to amplify this vision.
The result? In two weeks, four high-value lots sparked serious interest. In three weeks, two top-tier builders signed on as exclusive partners. Mission halfway accomplished.
Murphy’s Cove - Visual Identity, Logo
Art Director/Graphic Designer, Cora Brown
Instead of going the predictable route with a house logo—obvious and uninspired—I decided to highlight what really makes Murphy’s Cove special: the vibrant lifestyle and character of this coastal gem. Each logo variation showcases the adventurous spirit of coastal living, blending modern typography with classic elements like the soaring osprey—a nod to the owner's original logo and the nearby hiking trail—symbolizing freedom and exploration. The result? A brand identity that perfectly captures the essence of Murphy’s Cove, where coastal elegance meets endless adventure.
